British audiences watch Helen every week in the urban relationship comedy-drama series "Cold Feet". In North America, Helen is best known as "Emily", Ross' English girlfriend in the sitcom "Friends". Helen's television credits also include the lead in the P. D. James mystery series "An Unsuitable Job for a Woman".

Before starting work on "Dead by Monday" Helen Baxendale starred with Kevin Spacey and Linda Fiorentino in the feature film "Ordinary Decent Criminals".
